For those who use concealer on their face to cover redness or acne, etc…this will be an ideal pick however I’m one for using it under my eyes first and foremost not on my face. For daily use I probably won’t use it but from time to time when my eyes are in good shape (Summer time my eyes are a little less dry) I can probably take full advantage. I like it alot but my older, drier eyes don’t appreciate the formula. Hard Candy got the pigment correct but they need to work on making this more hydrating to get my full approval. I wanna Muse Approved it for purchase but the drier texture prevents me from doing so. It does take some proper TLC to get this into place correctly but once you get a hang of it, there isn’t any doubt that it offers fantastic, long wearing flawless coverage. Those who don’t fit into the light, medium, or dark category (that’s about the gist of shades sadly).Anyone who doesn’t have the patient or time for application (with time and patience you can get great results however a rushed application will result in caking, creasing, and general woe if your eyes are dry).Anyone who wants a hydrating concealer (this has a drier formula).Anyone with older, drier eyes (if you have major wrinkles, fine lines, or dryness this doesn’t blend as well as it would on hydrated, younger eyes).Younger eyes that aren’t dry will love this (this will apply fantastic on youthful eyes).Anyone who wants a budget concealer (this is six dollars for a huge tube that will literally last ages!).Anyone wanting to conceal redness, dark circles, and other hardcore issues (this is highly pigmented and will easily conceal most problem areas).I also forgot to mention that it only comes in three shades. I got the lightest which proved a bit to light and proceeded to try the medium which was too beige and dark. I ended up just settling on the light and tossing the medium to a friend as it applied the better of the two. I was so disappointed that the awesome pigmentation didn’t have an equally fabulous texture to back it up! The dry texture creeps into fine lines and cakes up a fair bit so you need to pay super special attention to your prepping and priming and if possible make sure your eye cream is dewy to the touch during application as it’ll allow the concealer to blend easily considering the dry texture makes it damn difficult for it to blend out well! Sadly, the concealer is really dry and it blends a bit crummy. It has a nice creamy feel and blends with ease. So you can dab it on a zit and quickly conceal it. The pencil included is good for spot coverage. The tube that the concealer comes in is also a generous size that will easily last you a very long time since a very tiny dab will do you! Props to Hard Candy for creating an inexpensive ($6 bucks) yet pigmented concealer. It’s super concentrated and does a serious job of concealing. Dark circles, fine lines, acne scarring, birth marks, anything you have that you’re wanting to conceal this will do it and lord knows probably tattoos as well if you dare. Ok, so speaking in terms of pigmentation, this can pretty much cover any and all problems. This is probably the most pigmented concealer I own in the realms of Kat Von D and Make Up For Ever concealers, those are pigmented and this surpasses both! Well, when they say highly pigmented, they mean it. You can hide everything from dark circles and blemishes to tattoos. The formula blends seamlessly into skin with plenty of play time creating a flawless and natural look perfect for any occasion. However, I, for one, do not follow the rules and I’ve found some gems among the selection of Hard Candy goodies located at my evil empire ( insert the imperial march here).Ī budget concealer duo that includes a cream concealer plus a pencil concealer!Ī heavy duty, highly pigmented, multi-use concealer that delivers ultimate coverage. Gosh I hate admitting that but in many aspects it is great beauty budget collection but I do think they are trying to grab the attention of teens not women. Now I didn’t expect much since Hard Candy is geared towards a bit of a younger crowd. Since I’m the Queen of Concealer it was only right that I run really fast to the nearest Evil Empire (Walmart) and grab me some Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer.
